Police are appealing for witnesses after two men armed with knives robbed a Loughton newsagents on Saturday morning.
Shortly before 6.30am, the pair forced a member of staff at McColl’s in Pyrles Lane to unlock the door before they stole her handbag, cash from the tills and cigarettes.
One man, who was wearing a black jacket, blue jeans and dark Adidas trainers, carried a Sports Direct bag.
The other man wore jeans and a dark blue jacket with two white logos on it, including one on the left shoulder. He also had a baseball cap on.
Anyone with information that could help police with their enquiries should call Loughton CID on 101 with reference 290 of 12/05.
