The Epping Ongar Railway is hoping to award its 5,000th visitor to its Penny Salon Photo Gallery with a prize on Saturday.
The present exhibition opened on October 6 and features black and white photographs by Geoff Silcock.
Dean Walton, general manager, said: “The Penny Salon is a fantastic, moving dynamic showcase of Railway photography that is always a delight to visit.
"We are all very proud of the work that Geoff and Malcolm have put into this, none more so than our passengers who spend hours in the gallery every operating day.
“The Railway will present a special prize to the 5,000th guest on Saturday but of course to have a chance of winning the prize you will need to come to the gallery.”
The Penny Salon is open whenever the railway is running trains.
This weekend the doors open from 10am to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday.
