Love them or loathe them, cycle lanes are here to stay. Now is the time to educate cyclists.
They ride in the lanes at top speed, not slowing down or even looking as they cross side roads. I missed one this week by a matter of seconds having pulled forward to see if it was clear to turn left into Lea Bridge Road. This idiot flew past the front of my car at top speed and then had the cheek to verbally abuse and blame me.
They need lessons in wearing light coloured clothing, having working lights and paying due care and attention to both motorists and pedestrians.
