Father Christmas will be dropping into Epping Forest District Museum as part of its festive offering.

The man himself is taking visitors at the Sun Street museum from 11am to 4pm on December 8.

Each visitor needs to pay £6 and they will receive a gift.

On November 30 the museum will also play host to an evening of fun prior to Waltham Abbey Town Council’s Cavalcade of Light event.

From 5pm to 7pm visitors can hear music from King Harold Academy and Christmas songs from the students at Upshire Primary.

There will also be a Walter Spradbery trail which leads visitors around the museum and the chance to make a cut-out silhouette.
