The Guardian Series is delighted to announce the launch of a new edition.

The Harlow Guardian will cover the town following the departure of the Reach Plc title The Harlow Star.

When the title hits news-stands on Thursday, February 14 it will extend Newsquest's coverage in the west of Essex, where the Epping Forest Guardian has been serving the community since 1885, under a number of different names.

On Monday, Audience and Content Editor Milo Boyd will be available to meet our new readers in Esquires Coffee in Harlow town centre from 12pm until 5pm.

The Harlow Guardian will offer a balanced look at the town, celebrating its successes while holding the powers that be to account.

All for just 70p.

Group editor Victoria Birch said: "This is a very exciting time for our team and for the community.

"Every town deserves a newspaper, but especially one of Harlow's size and stature.

"Following the sad news that the Harlow Star has ceased publication, we knew we had to step in and provide coverage of this town."

If you have a story or would just like to say hello, come down and meet Milo in Esquires Coffee from 12pm, call him on 07795 316211 or email milo.boyd@newsquest.co.uk.
