The best way to secure a new hospital and progress at the Trust will be discussed at a public meeting.
People are invited to join the directors and staff of The Princess Alexandra Hospital Trust at their next Board meeting between 9 and 10.30am on 7 March at the Harlow Leisurezone.
Open to all, the Board will be considering a number of items including the preferred way forward to replace the current Princess Alexandra Hospital and a maternity incentive scheme.
They will also be hearing reports from the quality and safety and performance and finance committees.
Lance McCarthy, chief executive, Princess Alexandra Hospital NHS Trust said: “We anticipate that local people will be interested to hear more about the preferred way forward for our new hospital.
“I would like to highlight that the Board meeting is to authorise that we can move to the next stage of the business planning process, which is legally required, for the preferred way forward for a new hospital.
“It is not the final decision, which can only be made once a full business case has been completed and approved."
