Three teenage boys were threatened by two men - one armed with a knife - and ordered to hand their bikes over in Hazlemere.

The boys were cycling along the footpaths that run between Firs Close and Ashtree Walk between 6.30pm and 7.15pm on March 14 when they were approached.

The two men got out of a vehicle - described as a dark coloured car similar to a Vauxhall Astra - on Firs Close and asked the boys to hand over their bikes.

One of the men was armed with a knife.

Fortunately the three teenagers managed to cycle away and got help from a member of the public.

No one was injured and nothing was stolen.

The first man, who was carrying the knife, is described as Asian, between 16 and 20-years-old, approximately 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, with black hair and slim. He was wearing a smart white long-sleeved shirt and black jeans.

The second man is described as Asian, between 16 and 20-years-old, approximately 5ft 6ins to 5ft 8ins tall, with black hair and slim. He was wearing a long-sleeved black sweater with small dark green dots.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Laura Burns, based at High Wycombe police station, said: “This is a concerning incident and I am appealing for anyone who may have witnessed this incident or who recognises the descriptions of the offenders to come forward.

“If you have CCTV or dash-cam footage from the Firs Close area around the time of this incident, please contact police."
