The scene in Belgrave Avenue this morning.
A cordon is in place after a body was found inside a shed last night.
Firefighters were called to reports of a shed on fire in Belgrave Avenue, West Watford, at 7.50pm yesterday.
Police were also called after they were asked to assist.
When the fire was put out,a body was discovered and an investigation has been launched.
Hertfordshire Constabulary has now confirmed the body found is that of a man.
This morning, emergency services remain at the scene, close to the junction of Queens Avenue, with firefighters, and investigative officers present in Belgrave Avenue.
At this stage, police are not treating the incident as suspicious and enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around what happened.
