Eight companies are partnering up with a hospice to give residents an opportunity to take part in an annual will-writing event.

Solicitors from across west Essex and east Hertfordshire will team up with St Clare Hospice will give people the opportunity to make or amend their last wishes during Will’s Month.

Anyone who is interested, a suggested minimum donation to cover the expenses of creating the documents.

Recommendations include £130 for a single will, £180 for a double will or £90 for an amendment, which will be given to the Hospice.

“All of us want to secure the best possible future for our families,” said Sarah Thompson, CEO at St Clare Hospice. “However, making a will is not often the first thing on our list when we think of how we can ensure our loved ones are cared for.”

The participating solicitors include Baxter Harries in High Street, Ongar, Foskett Marr Gadsby & Head LLP in High Street, Epping and Stapley & Co in High Road, Loughton.

Will’s Month runs from Monday June 3 June to Friday, June 28 and appointments can now be made with any of the eight participating companies.
