Touching tributes have been paid by close friends and family to the woman was in a fatal traffic collision last week.

Jessica Michael, a beauty therapist from Enfield, tragically died on Thursday, March 28, in Parklands, Waltham Abbey.

The 31-year-old mother of two leaves an eight-year-old son and a daughter, aged two-and-a-half, with husband, Andrew Michael.

Mrs Michael’s twin brother, Matthew Ladkin, flew back from Perth, Australia, as soon as he heard the news.

He said: “She was an amazing mum and character of her children are a testament to the mother, wife, daughter and sister she was.

“She would spend hours singing songs and reading stories to them at night. Her son is so bright and would help his mummy with her daughter, who is a mini Jessica, their dad Andrew calls her, with her lively and inquisitive character.

Mr Ladkin also said his sister will be remembered for teaching him and her family how to love and fight for the people you care about.

He added: “She fought for us all in one way or another.”

One of Ms Michael’s best friends, who did not wish to be identified, also gave a touching summary of how her friend made a full-filling life.

She said: “She was a woman who when her feet hit the floor the devil would probably think: “She’s up”.

She was a firecracker and she danced the rhythm of her own beat, she lived life like there was no tomorrow.”

The mother-of-two’s determined personality also meant she became a qualified solo sky diver and ran the London Marathon.

“She was incredibly generous and kind to the ones she loved. She would do things most women would never have the courage to do. We will love, miss and remember you always.”

Ms Michael’s older sister, who also lives in Perth, Australia, is currently organising the funeral arrangements.

A statement released by Essex police yesterday said: “At about 9.55pm last Thursday, officers from the Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire Road Policing Unit attempted to stop a Vauxhall Corsa on the M25.

“The vehicle was pursued and was then in a collision with two other vehicles - a Vauxhall Mokka and a Land Rover Range Rover.

“The Corsa driver sadly died at the scene.”

Two adults and three children in the Mokka all from the Waltham Abbey area were taken to hospital.

The driver, a 32-year-old woman, was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge with serious injuries.

The front seat passenger, a 43-year-old man, and three children aged one, eight and 14 suffered minor injuries.

The incident is being independently investigated by the Independent Office for Police Conduct.

Investigations by Essex police are also still currently active.
