The University of Essex has announced a brand-new double height studio is set to be built on its Loughton Campus.
Set to open its doors from September 2020, the new facility will be built on the rear of East 15 Acting School’s Hatfield House on Rectory Lane.
Several concept design images are were also uploaded to the university’s website and Twitter page showcasing the modern design.
It is currently unknown how much the building will cost and reason why the campus is receiving a new studio.
A statement released by the University of Essex, said: “The project will deliver a 300m2 double height studio. The space will be divisible into two smaller, equally sized double height studios.”
Work is expected to begin on Monday, September, 16, 2019
