A former police station which closed over three years ago has been sold to an unknown bidder.
A decision report published by the Police Fire and Crime Commissioner for Essex states Epping Police Station was sold for the sum of £1.5 million.
Details of the former station on Epping High Street also states the sale will be unconditional and the buyer is does not require planning permission.
The building was put on the market back on January 18, 2018, receiving 32 bids in total before PFFC Essex accepted the highest offer.
The four floors and a basement and small car parking space, with the former courthouse attached to the station being recently converted into dwellings.
Epping Police station officially closed back on March 31, 2016, where staff and officers were relocated to alternative locations.
Formal permission to dispose the facility was granted by Strategic States board in September 2017.
