Essex Police have withdrawn their appeal for a wanted man in connection with a theft and a racially aggravated assault.
A 42-year-old man from Buckhurst Hill has been voluntarily interviewed and enquiries remain ongoing.
It was reported the man had stolen alcohol from Sainsbury’s on Church Hill, Loughton, shortly before 9pm on Saturday, May 25.
A security guard detained the man who then became racially abusive and assaulted him.
Officers would like to thank everyone who shared their appeal, which was issued on Monday, June 10.
