Firefighters were called to a derelict building which caught fire this morning.
Fire crew from Loughton and Epping arrived at Broadstrood Road, Loughton, at 9.24am to find the roof completely alight.
The parts of the approximately measured 30m x 15m house, which was in the process of being demolished, collapsed during the blaze.
Firefighters battled the hot conditions to contain the fire and stop it spreading to neighbouring properties which was fully extinguish by 11:25am.
Two bonfires were found near the property which is thought to have been the cause of the fire.
No one was injured.
