A 37-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of cultivating cannabis in a bedroom and attic today.
Essex Police conducted a warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act at 9.30am, Thursday, July 4, in a home off Upshire Road, Waltham Abbey.
Officers soon located a small grow in the empty property after receiving information from the public.
The 37-year-old was arrested a few hours later.
Epping Forest Constable PC Paul Harrison tweeted: “As a result of enquiries a person has been arrested on suspicion of the cultivation of cannabis and is awaiting interview. No other details are being provided at this time due to ongoing enquiries.”
