Following their retirements Cllr Chris Whitbread added Councillors Nigel Bedford, Aniket Patel and Holly Whitbread to his Cabinet in May.
Current Epping Forest District Council Chairman, Richard Bassett, said: “Today we went to see Anne Grigg who stood down this year after serving many years as a district councillor, including chairman.

City of London Councillor for Bishopsgate, Cllr Ben Murphy, said: “Ann Grigg and Dave Stallan were a force of nature when it came to representing the people of North Weald, through so many challenges.
“Without doubt, the airfield would have been complete redeveloped if it wasn’t for their tireless community campaigns. They will both be missed.”
