Police are appealing for information about an aggravated burglary yesterday morning.
Officers were called at around 9.40am on Tuesday, July 9, to an address in Winters Way, Waltham Abbey.
Reports followed that two men forced entry and made demands where they then hit a man to the head with an asp before running off.
The victim suffered a cut to his head and was treated for his injuries at the scene.
The suspects were described as being black men and aged in their late teens – one shorter than the other.
They both wore dark clothing and one wore a red bandana.
