A charity is offering 12 fundraisers places to run in the Royal Parks Half Marathon this autumn.

St Clare Hospice is looking for people to make up their team in time for the 13.1 mile route on Sunday, October 13.

The half-marathon will cover four of London’s eight Royal Parks whilst passing some of the capital’s most iconic landmarks including Buckingham Palace.

St Clare Hospice’s challenges and events fundraiser, Emma Broadbent, commented: “The Royal Parks Half is a really special event; an opportunity to experience a once-in-a-lifetime run through our capital city, all on closed roads in the fresh, autumnal air.

“We are excited to be able to offer 12 places to loyal supporters who want to join Team St Clare for this event.

“Every year, the race raises thousands of pounds for our Hospice, which goes directly towards the free, compassionate care and support we offer to our local communities.

“If you’re looking for a personal challenge to squeeze in before the year is out, please get in touch.”

Applications to apply to run for Team St Clare are now being accepted. The deadline for applications is 5pm on Thursday, August 22.

Please note: places are not given on a first-come-first-serve basis; all applications are assessed on an individual basis.
