North Weald Bassett Parish Council and Library is set to reopen following a temporary closure due to a leaky roof.

The facility on High Road, North Weald, will be back for business on Wednesday, July 24, at 9.15am, however there may be some disruption due to ongoing repairs in the children’s area.

The office and library was forced to close at 12.30pm on Friday, July 19, after the water gradually became heavier.

Mitie engineers and roofers were called in to attend the premises to fix the damage yesterday (July 22) and prevent further flooding.
