Brentwood and Epping Forest Community Police Team have had a successful weekend cracking down on several knife crime and drug reports in the district.
Officers shared the latest incidents dealt with on their official Twitter page last night.
The first tweet said that police a man in Chigwell is currently going through custody after being suspected of driving under the influence of drugs.
The team also praised members of the public who had found three knives located in Loughton and North Weald.
The second post reported that a 61-year-old man was arrested in Buckhurst Hill after threatening residents whilst in the possession of a knife.
He was arrested soon after and has since been charged and remanded by taser support.
