Officers are on the lookout for new Volunteer Police Cadets to join the district’s team.
The programme is open to young people aged between 13 and 18 where newbies will be given various opportunities and experiences to help within their community.
Alongside learning new skills and delivering policing throughout Epping Forest, each member will receive the distinctive uniform.
In addition, the programme is intended to enhance cadets’ opportunities for further education, employment and training.
Opportunities for those interested in becoming a Cadets Leader is also available for those aged 18 and over.
A statement from Essex Police said: “We are always looking for volunteer Cadet Leaders so we can make more spaces available in the future and cater for more Cadets.
“Even if prospective leaders cannot commit to attending every week, we'd still like to hear from you.”
