North Weald Bassett Parish Council has expressed its "upset and disappointment" after a following cases of vandalism at a graveyard.
The damage over at North Weald Cemetery on Vicarage Lane was caused over the Bank Holiday weekend, where gates, fences and seats broken.
The lock to the front gates of the cemetery was removed, prior to this, a donated bronze statue was stolen two weeks ago.
An extension to the number of burial plots was officially opened in January 2018.
North Weald Bassett Parish Council clerk Sue DeLuca said: "The parish council are very upset and disappointed that such damage could be carried out to such a quiet and special place where people’s loved ones are laid to rest."
