Three men who stole jewellery and assaulted two women whilst making a getaway are wanted by police.

The incident happened inside a house shortly before 3.40pm in Tysea Hill, Stapleford Abbotts yesterday, Thursday, August 29.

The victims, one woman in her 50s and another in her 60s, arrived home to discover the men were stealing the jewellery.

Upon realising that the pair were in the house, the group assaulted both of them, pushing one to the floor and dragging another by their hair.

They demanded cash and watches from the two victims, before making off on foot with just the jewellery.

They left in the direction of Horseman Side.

The men are believed to be in their 20s but had their faces covered. They spoke with Irish accents.

It was reported that all three were armed, all with iron bars.

The victims were not injured but are, understandably, very shaken by the incident.
