A family-run nail salon which has been ram-raided three in seven months has created a fundraising page cover costs store damage and stolen goods.

Nail Hub, on Epping High Street, has been the victim of what the owners believe is deliberate but unknown targeted attacks.

The store’s latest incident was on Saturday, July 21 at 3am, just 19 days after their previous incident.

Lisa Tran, a nail technician and daughter to the owner of Nail Hub, set up the GoFundMe page on Wednesday, August 28.

She said: “Everything was brand new, however it’s now damaged and worn out due to the three consistent relentless attacks.

“We have re-purchased items twice, this is our dream business which we have been saving up for many years we have purchased bollards, window grilles, alarm system and steel shutters which has financially set us back."

Epping Forest Guardian:

The store currently has no window or door, using wooden boards to cover the continuous damage, which Ms Tran and her mother both feel is detracting customers.

The family have been forced to use their life savings and investments in order to provide a safe, comfortable environment for our customers.

Sadly, Essex police and the investigation team have not been able to identify and suspects or clues except for a silver Ford Focus car abandoned at an address nearby on Tower Road, Epping following the second attack on July 2.

Ms Tran added: “My mother and I are working extremely hard to preserve what we have and continue to fight to keep our shop open.

Epping Forest Guardian:

“Even though we had serious doubts about our future we even considered abandoning the shop because we feel attacked, bullied and helpless.”
