Police are appealing for information after a man was threatened with a knife during a robbery at a shop in Wickford on Tuesday September 17.
Three teenage boys entered Yosha Confectionary, in Alderney Gardens, at around 7.10pm before one of them took a bottle of drink without paying.
A member of staff has challenged the suspect who re-entered the store before threatening the victim with a knife and throwing the bottle towards him.
The suspects have been described as white teenagers and rode off on bikes towards Haslemere Road.
A member of the public was also threatened by the same person carrying the knife as the rode off.
One of the suspects has been described as wearing a black cap with a light blue Puffa jacket.
