A house fire has left a two-storey property completely destroyed.
The incident broke out on the ground floor of a semi-detached home in Hamlet Hill, Roydon, on Tuesday, September 24.
Four fire crews from Harlow, Epping and Hoddesdon were called at 2.05pm after a after a passer-by saw smoke coming from the building.
The home measured approximately ten square metres and was 100 per cent alight on the ground floor. No-one was inside at the time.
It took almost three hours to fully extinguish the blaze by 4:57pm.
Essex Fire and Rescue Service said that cause of the fire will be investigated.
