A bin lorry has crashed into residential flats in the morning.
People in Woodlands Road, Harrow, were awakened to the noise of a bin lorry crashing into Kirkfield House today (October 29) at around 6:52am.
Metropolitan Police were called by the London Ambulance Service to reports of an injured man after the incident. The man was treated for minor injuries.
A Metropolitan Police spokesperson said: “At this early stage, it is believed that the man was injured by his own vehicle before it collided with a building.
“No other parties are believed to be involved."
Anna Arianrhod Loiacono, a member of community group #FixIt Harrow Network, captured an image of the vehicle still beside the building a few hours after the crash.
