The RSPCA is appealing for information after two videos circulated on social media appearing to show rabbits being abused and killed.

It is not known if the two videos are linked but they were both posted Snapchat, one on Saturday November 9 and the second on Saturday, November 16.

The first is believed to have been filmed in Chigwell and the second in Chingford.

Jack Taylor from the RSPCA said: “These videos would be extremely distressing to watch and would have caused the rabbits significant suffering.

“It would appear as though the first video was recorded by someone else who may know the person in the video and states that he buys rabbits from pet shops in order to inflict this suffering on them.”
