The road that was closed off following the fatal hit and run incident outside Debden Park High School has reopened.

Essex Police had cordoned off a section of Willingale Road, Loughton, between Rookwood Avenue and Audley Gardens since Monday, December 2.

Pedestrians were able to access the road today, (Wednesday, December 3).

Officers from Harlow police centre were called in to help assist Epping Forest police with patrols and investigation duties within the area.

Officers have been conducting an around the clock murder investigation after 12-year-old Harley Watson died in the tragic incident that same day.

The six people including two 15-year-old boys, a 13-year-old boy, a 16-year-old girl, a 12-year-old boy and a 53-year-old woman, were also injured.

51-year-old Terry Grover, from Loughton, was arrested at 11pm that same day and remains in custody in connection to incident.
