Nottingham Forest boss Sabri Lamouchi has dismissed suggestions he was approached by Watford to take over as head coach at Vicarage Road.

The Hornets are seeking a new permanent boss following the sacking of Quique Sanchez Flores and French newspaper L’Equipe claimed the 48-year-old had twice been approached by the Hornets to fill the vacancy.

However, the Frenchman clsims he has not been approached by another club and maintains he has happy at the City Ground.

“Nobody called me, nobody has talked with me,” Lamouchi said in comments reported by Nottinghamshire Live.

“I am the manager at Nottingham Forest. I am very happy here with my players, with my staff, with the people at the club, with the fans and with the city.

“I just want to work and to think about the next game.”
