We hope you're all enjoying a wonderful Christmas.
As we continue our review of the year and while you eagerly (and impatiently) wait for your Christmas dinners, here's taster of what happened back in February this year.
A campaign to save a number of libraries continued to grow as protesters gathered outside Chigwell library.
At the time, the library was one of many facing closure, also including Debden, Chipping Ongar and Buckhurst Hill.
Essex County Council wanted to close a number of libraries and leave some in the care of volunteers.
Meanwhile, a stabbing rocked the town of Loughton.
A 21-year-old from Buckhurst Hill was knifed in the abdomen on Monday February 4.
The attack was just one of a number of knife-related crimes in Loughton in the past six months.
While a posy office in a supermarket targeted by ram raiders officially reopened.
The branch in Coppice Row, Theydon Bois, temporarily closed last October after thieves attempted to ram raid the Tesco Express’ ATM with a digger. The
Tesco Express was also closed following the raid.
