It's nearly time to say farewell to 2019 and welcome in a new decade.
Now that Christmas is over (sort of), everyone is making plans for New Year's Eve on Tuesday.
There are a range of New Year's Eve events happening in and around Watford. Whether you are looking for a boozy night out, a spectacular banquet or a fireworks display, there is something for you.
For those itching to celebrate the coming of the new 2020 year, we've compiled a list of some of the events happening in your area:
Fireworks at the Coach and Horses
When: December 31, from 6pm
Where: The Coach and Horses, The Green, Croxley Green WD3 3HX
Price: FREE
Tired of having to pay £30 just to get into a bar during New Year's Eve? The Coach and Horses in Croxley Green is holding a FREE event.
There will be a live DJ from 8pm, with midnight fireworks on The Green.

NYE at Tudor Arms
When: December 31, 9pm - 2am
Where: Tudor Arms, Bushey Mill Lane Watford WD24 7TQ
Price: £5 per person, includes a drink and light refreshments
The Tudor Arms is throwing a party to welcome in the new year. It will have DJ Bish Bosh and soul/motown singer Mr T.

Four-course dinner and entertainment at Derwish
When: December 31, from 8pm
Where: Derwish Turkish Meze and BBQ Restaurant, 163-165 St Albans Road, WD24 5BD
Price: £65 per person
Derwish will be holding a special four-course dinner for those celebrating New Year's Eve at the restaurant. The price also includes a glass of Champagne on arrival.
There will be live music, a Samba dancer and a belly dancer.

NYE at the Florist
When: December 31, 6pm (last entry at 11pm)
Where: The Florist, 65-67 High Street, Watford WD17 2DJ
Price: £20 per person, and a £2.15 fee
The restaurant will be holding a ticketed evening on New Year's Eve with live entertainment throughout the evening.
You must have bought a bar entry ticket - which includes a glass of Moët & Chandon Champagne - or have made a dining reservation to gain entry to the Florist.
The restaurant has asked its guests not to attend in tracksuits or sportswear.

NYE at The Langley Banqueting Suite
When: December 31, from 6pm
Where: 1st & 2nd Floor, Gade House, 38-42 The Parade, High Street, Watford WD17 1AZ
Price: £40 adults, under 10s £20, under 3s free
Guests can enjoy a mocktail or cocktail on arrival. Dinner will then be served from 7pm to 10pm.
There will be a DJ to keep everyone dancing all night before the event finishes with a 1am breakfast.

Glitter Ball ft. James Hype at PRYZM
When: December 31, 8pm-5am
Where: PRYZM, 127 The Parade, Watford, WD17 1NA
Price: Tickets for entry from £10
For the younger crowd, PRYZM nightclub is promising huge balloons filled with glitter, glitter cannons, glitter rain, glitter spray and glitter hats on New Year's Eye.
It has asked guests to avoid sportswear, work boots and brightly coloured footwear, and to bring valid photo ID.

DJ Luck & MC Neat at Twisted Monkey

Price: £12.35 for a standard ticket
Twisted Monkey bar is holding a party with bass music, drum n bass, jungle, old school music, and UK garage. It is also promising some "celebrity friends".

NYE at Canvas

Where: Canvas nightclub, 83 High St, Watford WD17 1LN
Price: From £10.15
Canvas nightclub is holding a New Year's Eve party for lovers of dancehall, hip hop, R&B and rap.
The club also has a shisha lounge upstairs, and serves a range of desserts accompanied by milkshakes, smoothies and mocktails.
