A police officer is in hospital after being struck by a car in the early hours of the morning.
The officer was injured after being struck by a car in Chigwell Road at around 12,10am on Monday, January 6.
A search is being carried out for the driver who left the scene, police say.
The officer is in hospital with injuries described as “not life-threatening”.
No arrests have been made and enquiries continue.
