A brand-new outdoor play area for pupils at a primary school has been officially opened.
Students and staff St John Fisher Catholic Primary School in Burney Drive, Loughton, gathered in the school playground for the ribbon-cutting ceremony on Friday, January 10.
Town Mayor Stella Murphy was given the honours while Rev Canon John Harvey sprinkled Holy water to bless the new play area.

Headteacher, Michael Ross thanked the PTA and the Governors involved in the project for their hard work and support in developing the space for Early Years and Foundation Stage pupils.
