I can’t be the only person who has noticed a mathematical inconsistency with the future bin regime. The new brown food waste bins need to be much bigger for this scheme to work.

We currently have 120 litres of black bin space per week which will be halved under the new scheme. That is 60 litres per week, which needs to go somewhere else. Assuming you already recycle consistently and are less consistent with food waste then this difference will be almost entirely food waste. So how do I fit 60 litres of food waste into a 23 litre bin each week?
