Police are appealing for information following a robbery where a man was threatened with a knife and had his watch stolen.

It was reported the victim, who is in his 60s, had been driving along the A414 near North Weald, between the Talbot roundabout and junction for the M11, at around 7.50pm on Wednesday, January 22.

Around this time, another vehicle drove in front of him and forced him to stop.

Two men, one with a hammer and the other with a knife, got out of the vehicle, forced him to hand over his watch, and then got back into the car and drove off towards Harlow.

The car the men were in is described as a dark-coloured 4x4 and the men are both described as white and wearing dark-coloured hooded tops.

The man did not require hospital treatment.
