Police are investigating a reported rape in Leytonstone over the weekend.
The Metropolitan Police have launched an investigation after a woman was allegedly raped in Leytonstone High Road, near the junction with Kirkdale Road.
The incident reportedly occurred in the early hours of Sunday, January 26.
At this early stage, no arrests have been made.
Anyone with information should contact officers on 101.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “Police are investigating a report of a rape alleged to have taken place at High Road, Leytonstone at around 1.30am on Sunday, January 26.
“Enquiries are ongoing; no arrests have been made.
“The victim, who is female, is being supported by specialist officers.”
