A team of 12 runners will represent St Clare Hospice in the upcoming 2020 London Marathon.
The Hastingwood-based charity have allocated six Gold Bond places following a ballot from the number of applications all wanting to fundraise for the hospice.
An additional six runners who were selected from the ballot have also pledged to run in aid of St Clare.
Each person has pledged to raise a total of £2,000 for the west Essex and east Herts charity and will run the infamous 26.2mile course across the capital.
This year’s runners for St Clare Hospice on Sunday, April 26 are:
- Nick Bowerbank, 34, from Epping
- Jodie Burgess, 43, from Little Canfield
- Sarah Cass, 41, from Matching
- William Osmond, 22, from Loughton
- Neil Payne, 49, from Romford
- Hayley Pillings, 42, from Great Dunmow
Amongst them, it is estimated that the runners will raise £12,000 in vital funding between that helps provide the hospice’s essential care and support services.
St Clare Hospice are also encouraging more London Marathon 2020 participants to join Team St Clare.
