A brand-new post office open seven days a week has officially opened its doors.
The new postal branch is based at Nisa Local on Fyfield Road, Chipping Ongar, welcomed its first customers today (Monday, February 10).
The Post Office services are available seven days a week: Monday – Sunday: 8am – 8pm
Visitors will have access to post, collect and return items all week round from 8am till 8pm, a total of 84 hours.
Customers can also take advantage of a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries on all the main UK banks.
The new branch aims to offer even more convenience to Post Office customers by extending the availability of Post Offices services in the area.
Mohammed Islam, Post Office change manager, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail at a time and place that suits them best.
“We know how important our services are to customers, and are confident that this brand new Post Office alongside Ongar and Fyfield branches will ensure that people in this area of Chipping Ongar have easy access to our services.”
