A primary school has been placed in the top three percent of schools in the country for progress.
Beechfield Primary School in Gammons Lane has been praised in a letter by the Minister of Standards for schools Rt Hon Nick Gibb MP.
The school achieved improved results in reading, writing and mathematics in their key stage 2 tests last year.
The results published in December showed how much the student's learning has accelerated between key stage 1 and end of key stage 2.

In a letter from Mr Gibb, he congratulated the school on its results which placed it at the top three percent of schools in the country.
He wrote: "The Government wants to ensure every child has the fluency in reading, writing and mathematics necessary to prepare them for a successful secondary education and beyond, which is why I was delighted to see your results."
He continued to congratulate the staff on their commitment and success.
Beechfield Primary School head teacher Gillian Jackson said: "I would like to personally thank everyone in our school community for their kindness and commitment.
"I greatly appreciate all the hard work that has been put in by all of our children, parents, staff and governors."
