An appeal has been launched after a man was found seriously injured in a street with several broken bones.

It was reported a man in his 40s was found in Colson Road, Loughton, at around 10pm on Tuesday, February 18.

It’s believed he may have been involved in a collision with a vehicle.

A member of the public found the man, stopped, and drove him to hospital where he has received treatment for a broken pelvis, broken ribs, and bruising.

Essex Police are working to establish how the man came to be injured and need anyone who saw what happened or has any CCTV or dash cam of the incident or the moments before it, to come forward.
