    Last night, Prime Minister Boris Johnson put us all on lockdown for a minimum of three weeks due to the Covid-19 coronavirus outbreak.

  • You can only leave your house for essential shopping and to go to work (if working from home is not possible) - housing minister Robert Jenrick said this includes construction workers.

  • You are also allowed out for one form of exercise a day and you cannot hang around in groups of more than two.

  • Police can fine people caught ignoring the restrictions, and can also disperse gatherings.

  • So far, 335 people in the UK have died after testing positive for the coronavirus.

  • There have been 67 confirmed cases in Essex, 56 in Waltham Forest and 51 in Redbridge.

  • Yesterday afternoon, it was confirmed that a coronavirus patient in their 80s died at The Princess Alexandra Hospital.
