A FAMILY is taking the rainbow support trend to new highs with a giant 300 balloon display at their home.

Sarah Mitchell, 37, from Benfleet, wanted to bring much-needed cheer with the colourful show.

The party stylist said she’s been so surprised by the great reaction it has received.

She said: “I just wanted to help make people smile and also thank all our great workers.

“The NHS is amazing but it’s also for other teams such as care home workers, like my mum, and bin collection workers.

“I run my firm Daydreaming Hues and all my parties are cancelled so I had been thinking about creative and nice things to do.

“My three-year-old daughter Sienna helped out with blowing up balloons, and I also have pumps too. It took a few hours to pump them all up.

“My husband, Pete, was up the ladder and it took about an hour or so; he’s now working on the new Nightingale Hospital at the London ExCel Centre as an electrician.”

The mum said it’s so important to spread love and hope as the country battles the coronavirus.

She’s feeling overwhelmed by the great reaction the balloon rainbow has received, after receiving lots of kind messages and words.
