Police are hunting a hit-and-run driver after a man was struck while crossing a road earlier this year.
Essex Police only today released an appeal for information following the incident in Pilgrims Hatch on Monday, February 3.
The victim, a man in his 30s, was crossing the road near to the junction of Warescroft Road and Ongar Road at around 4:30pm when he was struck down.
The victim sustained significant injuries which they are still recovering from, Essex Police said.
Detectives investigating the incident have released footage in the hope someone may be able to identify the vehicle.
Officers believe the vehicle pictured, a blue Honda CR-V, may have been involved in the incident.
