A man has been arrested after a video of a woman allegedly being racially abused in Harlow circulated on social media.
Officers at Essex Police were yesterday made aware of a video circulating on social media which reportedly showed a woman being racially abused in the Terminus Street area.
It was also reported the victim had been subjected to similar abuse outside the ASDA at the Watergardens on Friday, May 15.
A 20 year-old man from Harlow was arrested shortly before 7am today (Tuesday, May 19) on suspicion of a racially or religiously aggravated public order act and he is currently in custody.
Police enquiries are into the incident continue.
