A man has been charged with attempted murder following a stabbing in Harlow town centre.

Police was called shortly after 9.30pm on Tuesday, May 19 to reports a man had been assaulted and injured in the Rows, Harlow.

The victim, a man in his 30s, was taken to hospital with stab wounds to his body.

His injuries are not believed to be serious, Essex Police said.

Haval Sidiq, 33, of Hookfield, Harlow, has been charged with attempted murder and is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court later today (Thursday, May 21).
