An historic twice-a-week market is returning to full strength tomorrow.
Waltham Abbey’s Tuesday and Saturday market, run by Waltham Abbey Town Council, will see essential traders reunited with other traders from June 2.
The essential foods market traders have been supporting the town by providing a supply of fruit and vegetables, dry goods and pet supplies throughout the Covid-19 pandemic.
However, since lockdown began on March 23, the number of stalls at the market has been greatly reduced.
Now shoppers can enjoy the full market line-up, as essential traders are joined by other traders as per government guidance.
Social distancing and hygiene measures will be put in place to ensure shoppers and traders safety while at the market.
