A primary school has temporarily closed after discovering a "Covid-19 situation relating to a member of staff".
Holy Cross Primary Academy in Harlow has closed following the incident and expects to reopen next Monday (June 8).
The exact nature of the incident is so far unclear, however it has been established it relates to a member of staff at the pre-school.
The school in Tracyes Road was made aware of the situation on Friday, May 29, Your Harlow has reported.
A spokesperson for the school said: "We were made aware of a Covid 19 situation relating to a member of staff at the pre-school.
"We took swift action, as a precautionary measure and informed all relevant parties. The school has been deep cleaned and disinfected and should be open on Monday."
