A man is due in court following a collision in Nazeing in which one driver was seriously injured.
Petrica-Cristian Nastase, of Common Road, Waltham Abbey, has been summonsed to court in connection with a collision in Nazeing in March.
The 25-year-old is due to appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court on Monday, October 12.
He will answer several charges including counts of drink driving, driving without a licence, failing to stop after an accident and causing serious injury by dangerous driving.
A spokesperson for Essex Police said: "It follows a collision involving two vehicles in Epping Road at around 3.25pm on Saturday, March 7.
"A passenger in one of the vehicles was taken to hospital and underwent numerous stitches to his head."
