Essex Police are appealing for information after a man’s life was threatened twice in seven days.

A man reported he was threatened by another man in a black Seat Leon, who may have had a gun, at 5.40pm on Monday, June 22.

“We understand there was a further disturbance involving both people between 5.50pm and 6pm near to the Phoenix Pub in Tillwicks Road and Second Avenue”, a spokesperson for Essex Police said.

Seven days later, between noon and 2pm, it was reported a vehicle deliberately drove towards the victim and his child as they walked near a mini roundabout close to St Mark's School.

The vehicle, described as a black Audi, then left the scene. There were no reported injuries.

Essex Police are treating these incidents as targeted and believe the victim is known to the suspect.

Anyone with information is asked to call Harlow police station on 101 quoting crime reference 42/95448/20.

Alternatively, you can call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
